The Story
In Georgian mythology, Badagoni is the ancient god of winemaking and fertility. Our restaurant and winery proudly bear his name, honoring Georgia's sacred winemaking heritage.
Badagoni Winery, founded in 2006, is Georgia’s leading wine producer, exporting to over 30 countries. With 400+ hectares of vineyards across Kakheti, we craft wines exclusively from native Georgian grape varieties, a tradition rooted in 8,000 years of winemaking. Combining ancient methods with modern technology, we produce a diverse range of wines, from classic still and sparkling to traditional Qvevri wines and Chacha.
The Badagoni Wine Shop, Hotel, and Restaurant is a unique space owned by the wine company Badagoni, combining the rich traditions of ancient Georgian winemaking with modern standards of hospitality. Our goal is to offer both tourists and local guests a full experience of Badagoni wines — not just the taste, but also the story, the meaning, and the emotion woven into each bottle.The Badagoni space is more than a place of sensory pleasure — it is a cultural bridge between past and present, tradition and innovation, reminding every visitor why Georgia is truly the homeland of wine.
